On February 28, 2022, I was diagnosed with a grade 2 astrocytoma in my left frontal lobe. It was a scary time, but I couldn’t have gotten through it without the advocacy, support, and assistance of Keep Punching.
Keep Punching was in my corner, coaching me through the maze of questions, clinical explanations, and treatment options. Today, I’m a survivor, thanks to Keep Punching and the amazing staff at UMMC Cancer Center. I battled for 10 months and WON THIS ROUND!!
On May 21, 2023, I will participate in Keep Punching's 10th Anniversary 5K. Keep Punching is a 100% volunteer non-profit organization. Every penny raised provides support to brain cancer patients and to researchers looking for promising new treatments. To date, Keep Punching has raised close to half a million dollars.
